Fiddlesticks! This is all Jabberwocky!

Yeah, I know. To the majority of people out there on the web most of this site doesn't make any sense.

The thing is that i have given up on writing in english. I like writing, and from time to time I enjoy writing stuff that doesn't make any sense, only for the sheer joy of putting interesting words in a sequence. But it's just more fun to do it in danish, because it's the language i know the best.

And you know what? Maybe i'm just a little tired of navigating my digital life in english. Maybe it's a good thing to fight to keep just a little bit of cultural diversity on the internet. Maybe i just enjoy a little bit of rebellion against the american/british linguistic supremacy on the web: If you want to read what i have to write, then learn my language! Ha! :-)

You might have come here in search of my webcam program, Pryme. It's still here, don't worry, and the page is in english. Here it is.

If you need to contact me, you can do so here.

This message is for the author of Pryme 1.26.

This is a fantastic program. Almost perfect for what we need.

I am the IT Director of several orthopedic clinics. I am setting up cameras at all our locations to take pictures of patients when they check in to comply with new HIPAA (government patient privacy) regulations.

Getting the patient picture into our medical software is the challenge because most of the commercial camera programs were not written for this purpose. These cameras all take pictures with a resolution of 640 x 480, etc. Our medical program puts the picture into a 140 x 148 box. Consequently, we are in essence putting a rectangular picture into a square hole and the pictures are distorted accordingly.

I've not found any camera programs that allow us to change the resolution to a custom setting. Is this something that you could write into your program for us. If this is possible, within reason, we would be happy to pay you for this configuration change.

Thanks again for a great program and email me if you can accommodate my request. Thank you.

Pryme

Pryme is a nice, little webcam program, capable of the most common things. I made it a few years ago, as a hobby-project.

Also be sure to check out my new webcam program called TinCam. It has a lot of nice features that Pryme doesn't have. And TinCam is what pays for my studies.

Pryme is available for free, but my focus is on TinCam now, so i can't offer any kind of support for it.
